On Memorial Day in 1999, a traffic accident at the lights at the Wal-Mart entrance on Route 28 in Derry, NH claimed the life of David DeBenedetto, 29, of Derry NH.  His wife filed a lawsuit agains CLD Engineering Consultants, as well as others.  The trial focused on CLD Engineering since others either settled or were removed from the case through court proceedings.
